En 1908, le Harderbahn fut construit pour faciliter l'accès à la Harderkulm, un petit pic (1322m) au-dessus d'Interlaken. De là, vers le sud, une vue magnifique s'étend sur les célèbres sommets de l'Oberland bernois: Eiger, Mönch, et Jungfrau. La station de base est située à Interlaken, et la ligne décrit une grande courbe avec deux tunnels. Magnifique affiche de montagne du début du XXe siècle, en excellent état.
